The conference will bring together senior executives of oil majors, refineries and petrochemical plants from across the CIS this year in Rome. - October 2012 – Introduction of New Steam Turbine Extraction Controller in Europe
CCS is pleased to announce the successful commissioning of our all new Steam Turbine Speed Control application with the brand new Extraction Control application. The application was installed on an existing CCS Customer in Sweden on an existing Allen Bradley PLC installed in 2010. The application was for a 4 MW s-stage (HP and LP) Steam turbine made by MAN Turbo (Germany). CCS scope included procurement of PLC hardware, converters and Panel View (in Swedish) in addition to CCS’s proprietary Steam Turbine Control and Extraction Control application.

CCS’s founder, Leonid Shcharansky, has written an article for Turbomachinery International entitled ‘The Way Forward for Turbomachinery Control’ which offers an interesting perspective and overview of the turbomachinery controls marketplace. The article will be featured in the July-August edition of Turbomachinery International and will be available for distribution at the upcoming 41st Turbomachinery Symposium held September 24-27, 2012 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. .

CCS successfully exhibited at the Latin American Turbo Machinery Symposium (XIII Congreso y Exposicion Latinoamericano de Turbomaquinaria) in Queretaro, Mexico. The event was held between March 12-15 and focused on presenting new offerings for large upcoming capital investments by National Oil Companies in their turbo machinery infrastructure throughout Latin America. CCS is proud to announce the opening of its first representative office in Mexico City with a direct focus on working together with Pemex to update and revamp existing turbo machinery throughout Mexico. - January 2012
